HCNN Press

The HCNN is the new online drug warning service for physicians, physician assistants, and other health care professionals. Traditionally, drug safety warnings (also known as "Dear Doctor letters" or “DDLs”) were sent to physicians and other prescribers on paper-based letters via traditional U.S. mail – a slow, error-prone process. By providing electronic delivery of FDA-mandated drug safety notifications that are time-sensitive and product-related, the HCNN dramatically improves patient safety, reduces medical liability, and helps ensure regulatory compliance. HCNN-qualifying safety notifications comprise a number of patient safety-related Alerts, including recalls, label changes, and new FDA programs like Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS).
