Johnson & Johnson partnered with Health Care Notification Network (HCNN) to deliver online drug alerts to physicians in the US.

The first alert focused on a widely manufactured and commonly used class of antibiotics and was sent immediately via the HCNN to healthcare providers.

The alert is in contrast to the “Dear Doctor Letter” that can take days or weeks to arrive by traditional mail.
