A New Resource for Drug Safety Alerts

The Health Care Notification Network (HCNN) has been launched by iHealth Alliance as a resource that delivers free, online drug safety alerts to all licensed physicians in the United States.
The HCNN website, available at www.hcnn.net , will also supply rapid communication with physicians in the event of emergency public health or bio-terror events.
The network is the result of a 3-year effort and a collaboration between U.S. medical society leaders, liability carriers, health plans, consumer advocacy groups, government leaders and industry.
